Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online will be available on Open Licensing from 1 February
Back in July, at the Worldwide Partner Conference, Microsoft announced that Dynamics CRM Online would become available on Open Licensing ‘sometime this fiscal year’. CRM partners have been awaiting news of when this is going to happen. Thankfully, Microsoft has recently announced that CRM Online will be available on Open Licensing from 1 February 2015.
Open licensing allows customers to purchase licenses through Microsoft partners, with the partner managing the customer relationship. The partner will be manages the customer lifecycle from advising the customer on the right Microsoft products and services to suit their needs, through to single invoice billing and guiding them through the renewals process. This allows the Microsoft partner to deliver seamless customer service and have a much more engaging relationship with the customer.
